It’s a show seemingly made for little girls, and it is a reboot of a cartoon that has never been all that great. Many of us are guys in high-school or college, so it does seem a little odd. I facepalm every time I hear or read ignorance such as “Why are we made fun of or trolled for liking ponies?” Guess what. You just answered that question.
You have a point brother. But look at it. Its something that everybrony in the community likes, and its a part of who we really are. Besides, do we troll people who troll us for the things we like?? No, (as far as i know) we are allowed to like things that not all find amusing and likeable, but dammit dont make fun of us for it! It may be weird to you, but its not to us! To each their own, we like something that is different, and if you dont like it, tough. Go somewhere else, we dont need you, because all your doing is wasting your own time.
Totally agree. 100%!!! I mean, i know the show itself hasn’t made them famous like Twilight or AJ, or any of the mane cast for that matter. But the fan base has done that. I could see it being an episode dedicated to all the hard work we have done for the show, bringing in more and more fans to the community. And really, we all love the BG ponies just as must as the mane cast! Thinking about this, i sent Ms. Faust herself a note on Deviantart asking if we will ever get a canon eye color for Vinyl. Fingers crossed that she answers me! But ya, totally agree with this!
